Weld gas analysers

The Weldwide Weld Gas Analysers accurately measure the oxygen concentration in the weld root environment. They will tell our customers immediately when it is safe to start welding, thus preventing oxidation and saving time as well as purge gas. RING PURGE

The inflatable Ring Purge system considerably reduces the volume around the weld and shields the weld root from oxidation.

Rigid PURGE DAMS

Rigid purge dams considerably reduce the volume around the weld and shield the weld root from oxidation.
The significant decrease of the volume that requires purging achieved by a rigid purge dam not only saves time and money but can also increase your production rate and help your company to operate in a more environmentally friendly way. Available for 2" to 36" pipes.

Weld backing

Backing tape and ceramic backing tiles support the weld root pass and shield the underside of the weld root which minimises oxidation and significantly reduces the need to gouge or grind the weld.

Water-soluble paper dams

Water-soluble paper dams are a cost-effective way to reduce weld oxidation, save time needed for purging and the amount of purging gas used. The prefabricated dams are available for all standrad pipe diameters and can be easily installed and removed from the pipe using hot or cold water once the weld has been completed.
